4th of July Fun

With the re-opening of the state, an overworked family is looking for somewhere to relax and hang out out in the midst of what can be considered an overwhelming feeling of seeing many people again for the first time. Thankfully there are some activities to get you through.

Here are some activities for the 4th of July:

Plenty of fun during the Vallejo Farmers Market with the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Additionally Saturday Night is also the kick off for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom July 4th Fest with Fireworks presented by Coca Cola. both on July 3rd as well as July 4th.

On Sunday there are two very special events taking place, both on either side of the Napa River. In Downtown Vallejo on Virginia St, you’ll have V-Town Provisions hosting a Special Summer Sounds fest with music and a performance by Ballet Folklorico Moon Azteca as well as ton of great food!

Our friends at Southern Land Company will be hosting a 4th of July Mare Island block party with music, food, drinks and family fun like facepainting and juggling. All in the spirit of celebrating 4th of July.

Either way you slice it, though we are still coming out of the pandemic and we are unable to have our annual Vallejo Independence Day Parade for the 2nd year now. We hope these fun family events help provide some fun activities for visitors and families in the area who are finally taking a break and finally getting out of their comfort zone. Happy 4th of July Vallejo!
