See what they’re Saying
I just wanted to thank you and the Vallejo CVB for an amazing Purple Hatter Seniors Trip this past month. From lunch at Zio Fraedo’s to our San Francisco Bay Ferry ride we had an amazing time! The trip was so organized and detailed! We appreciate all the hard work you put into organizing this trip. I will definitely spread the word to my associates about you and the Vallejo Convention & Visitors Bureau.

I wanted to take a minute to write and inform you of how pleased the MuckFest MS San Francisco Association was with holding our 2014 5K Mud and Fun Run at the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo, CA. I can personally say it has been a pleasure working with the Vallejo CVB, local hotels, and the city of Vallejo. It appeared to us that everyone was interested in making the event a success. We are busy now making plans for the 2015 event and looking forward to working with you and the staff at the Vallejo Convention and Visitors Bureau.

My Fraternity (Kappa Alpha Psi) plays a tournament every year but never in Vallejo. The Vallejo Convention and Visitors Bureau suggest I give Blue Rock Springs a chance. I was very impressed with the staff and the overall experience. The folks in the pro shop were extremely friendly. Although it wasn’t a round for scoring, I was able to get a good sense of the track. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape. Smooth carts paths meander through the layout with excellent signage keeping you informed at all times. So thank you Carrie Baulwin I’m certain that all my brothers playing the tournament are really going to enjoy the experience.

In 2014, we embarked on our first Instrumental Music Trip at Kennedy High School. (Invited by Kurt Hargleroad) with “Music In The Park & Festivals” to Vallejo, California. This was my first trip as a music teacher and after hearing of our choral departments experience with the Vallejo Convention & Visitors Bureau I called, and from that first moment on Carrie and her staff were absolutely phenomenal. I always felt like I was top priority and no question was too small to discuss. The entire time I was kept informed of our planning which turned into a wonderful trip that my students loved. From the moment we stepped off the bus arriving at the Best Western our trip went off without a hitch. Hat’s off to Carrie, Vanessa and the staff at the Vallejo Convention & Visitors Bureau they are amazing people, professional, organized, and totally committed, Thank You.

When planning your my next conference I will be sure to work with the Vallejo CVB again. The entire office worked as a team to help our Women's Convention get the most out of their stay in Vallejo. Vallejo has exceeded everyone's wildest expectations. Bringing our Church of God in Christ Annual Women's Convention back to Vallejo will be a pleasure.

Recently we had a family reunion and as hosts we had to do all the planning for about 100 people. We contacted the Vallejo Convention & Visitors Bureau and they helped us through the planning…called hotels and RV Parks, provided brochures of all the attractions in the area, schedules, discounts, and any information that we needed. VCVB also prepared a gift package for each of our guests, including welcome signs, name tags, maps, and a Jelly Belly sample. Best of all this is a free service.
So the cat's out of the bag, if you need assistance you can count on the VCVB for help.

Vallejo's amazing location lured Charley Addison' chairperson for a group of 160 submarine veterans but the help and professionalism provided by the Vallejo CVB really wowed him. "Unbelievable… the Vallejo CVB was absolutely indispensable. The CVB asked the Mayor to speak to us, they gave us a city plaque and we got special rates on our rooms. I've never had such fantastic and able assistance."

On behalf of the Vallejo Women's Bowling Association, I wish to take this opportunity to thank the Vallejo CVB for all you did to assist us in our endeavor to host the CWBA's Princess Tournament. Without your help in directing us to various businesses in Vallejo, we would not have been able to obtain the many donations and prizes we received. Your kindness in donating the goodie bags and printed matter to us was, without question, the best advertisement our city could have asked for. You helped make our tournament a success. We couldn't have done it without you!
