Welcome to the Vallejo Symphony’s 92nd season! We are Vallejo’s oldest professional arts organizations and one of the oldest professional orchestras in California. Your orchestra was founded out of community recognition that the arts matter! And what changes we have seen in these 92 years. We have been blessed by technological advances and inspired by extraordinary changes in music, but we have also witnessed a profound change in our environment.
In Song of the Earth, we have chosen to perform works that respond to our world, our
place in it, and the immensity of our relationship to it. We present extraordinary artistic
responses that have arisen from our unique and collective relationship to the earth.
