On Sunday, November 19th the Vallejo Arts Fund will hold a Fall Gathering and Celebration from 12 to 3pm at the Riverbank Building, 332 Georgia St. Vallejo 94590.

In 2022 Vallejo, Artists attended several informal community meetings, led by the staff of 3Palms Group, to discuss the needs of POC Artists. From the information gathered and shared at those meetings resulted in a grant process of several applications in various categories (i.e. Artist Next Level Project, Arts Cultural Space,

BIPOC-Centered Arts, Cultural Practices, Arts Cultural Space, Youth Arts, and Micro-grants for individual artists).

 A total of eighty+ applications were submitted and sixty+ POC Artists, Cultural Bearers and Organizations in Vallejo received a grant from VAF funded by the Hewlett Foundation and administered by CCI.

Never before has Vallejo seen an opportunity like this for People of Color Artists.

 On November 19th, 12-3pm, the at Riverbank Building, 332 Georgia St.

The day will include performances by VAF recipients, an exhibition of art works and

organizations will speak on the impact of the VAF funding.

 We come together to celebrate, the recipients of VAF Grants and to Celebrate EVERYONE that did not receive funding for their projects this time.
