Rich Freedman Celebration of Life at the Empress

  • Empress Theatre 330 Virginia St. Vallejo United States (map)

On May 5, at the Empress Theatre, Bay Area comedians and musicians will generously lend their talents to commemorate and celebrate the life of Rich Freedman—a local hero, community leader, award-winning reporter, and humanitarian. Rich's heartwarming sense of humor never failed to bring smiles to our faces.

Known for his legendary stories and memorable Cow Comedy appearances in support of local charities, Rich has truly captivated our community. The event, titled “The Cow has Jumped Over the Moon,” will showcase an eclectic mix of entertainers to an audience comprised of his friends, family, and community members. Together, we all 'Love him to the Moon and Back’...or we can simply moon him.

Sponsored by Gene Pedrotti and supported by esteemed area entertainers and promoters such as Johnny Steele, Alvon Johnson, David Sikes, Perry Thorwaldson, Carlos Reyes, Drew Harrison and The Sun Kings, Jeff Campitelli, Joe Satriani, Peppino D'Agostino, Thor Audio Solutions, Jim Douglas, Prime Time Entertainment, Times Herald, and Frazier Trager Presents. The event features a growing list of participants generously volunteering their talents.

We invite you to join us for a heartfelt tribute to a man whose remarkable contributions have left an indelible mark on us all.
