Volunteers- Join Us for a November Cleanup Farm Work Day at Loma Vista Farms in Vallejo!

It is Fall and a great time to reconnect with the rhythm of Loma Vista Farm, the care it needs in exchange for all it has to offer such as fresh air, walking paths, picnic benches, seasonal plants, trees, and the wonderful welcoming animals.

Since the prior cleanup day, the Farm has hosted several onsite events that were huge successes in terms of the volume of visitors and the great help provided by volunteers.

Some of the cleanup activities include:

Clean around the outside perimeter of fencing

Remove debris and wood from pasture

Place old wooden Greenhouse sides in dumpster

Place wood behind poultry barn in dumpster

Reattach heater tube in Greenhouse

Weed around old goat yard and pond

Redo tree cages with clips

Paint Picnic tables

Paint the garage

Plant CA Fushia near Olympic gate into new container

Install Christy box in old goat yard to cover water outlet

Attach fence fabric to fences

Repair worm box lid
