As an artist residing and creating in Vallejo, CA, Priscila Soares' passion lies in advocating for individuals with hearing differences. Drawing from her own journey as a hard of hearing individual who wears Bone Anchored Hearing Aids, as well as being a parent to a son who is deaf and utilizes both sign language and oral communication alongside cochlear implants, She channeled her experiences into artworks that celebrate acceptance, honor, and recognition within this community.
