The Solano Aids Coalition (SAC), along with logistical support from the City of Benicia,the Benicia Public Library, the Benicia Unified School District, Benicia Black Matters and the Kyle Hyland Foundation, is proud to announce the creation of a wonderful and inclusive Benicia cultural event “Fiestas Primavera” a Mexican/Latino Indigenous tradition to celebrate and honor the coming of spring.

The flagship festival will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in Benicia City Park. The festival represents an opportunity for all communities to unite in an energetic celebration of change and renewal, to learn about our history and the history of human migration, and to honor a culture which has contributed significantly to making Benicia what it is today. We will feature a diversity of music, dance performances, art, cuisine and other cultural presentations that explore Mexico and Latin America’s rich cultural heritage and history and the ancestral roots of California.

La Coalición Aids Solano (SAC), junto con el apoyo logístico de la Ciudad de Benicia,la Biblioteca Pública de Benicia, el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Benicia, Benicia Black Lives Matters y la Fundación Kyle Hyland, se enorgullece de anunciar la creación de un evento cultural maravilloso e inclusivo en Benicia. Llamado "Fiestas Primavera", una tradición indígena mexicana/latina para celebrar y honrar la llegada de la primavera.

El festival insignia tendrá lugar el sábado 23 de marzo de 2024 en Benicia City Park. El festival representa una oportunidad para que todas las comunidades se unan en una celebración enérgica de cambio y renovación, para aprender sobre nuestra historia y la historia de la migración hispana y para honrar una cultura que ha contribuido significativamente a hacer de Benicia lo que es hoy. Presentaremos una diversidad de música, espectáculos de danza, arte, cocina y otras presentaciones culturales que exploran la rica herencia cultural e historia de México y América Latina, así como las raíces ancestrales de California.
