As the spiraling storyline of “Faith You Can See” unwinds this dramatic ministry promises to uplift every soul one way or another. Local thespians from the community of faith have come together to show you what FAITH looks like. Brian Lee Finley plays "Sammy Harrington '' a family person and gospel crooner, whose troubles are many. He features the opening song of yuletides and performs alongside a cameo appearance of the acclaimed “Best
Intentions”. Tonight’s theatre performance also guarantees double the drama and double the laughs with three actors who play surprise double roles: Min. Christopher Lea a film actor and gospel recording artist plays “Thee Dr. Coffee” and “Skillet”; Candy M. Thomas – actor and author plays “Rev. Lockett” and “Sista Hype”; and Pauletta Hickerson Oakland’s film and clean comedy grandma plays “Sasha” and “Nurse Pepper.” Actor and author Fayette Foster plays “Honey,” Sammy’s sweet but strong-willed wife. Althea Battle, premiere singer plays “Shirley” Honey’s live-in mother. Rich Gates, local gospel artist plays Sammy’s confidant “Deacon Roy.” Sharika Gregory, actor, and writer plays “Ms. Devine.” Also, Osiezhe “Young Gifted” Bramah (age 10), a new Gospel rap artist, playing “Cassius” brings the story to its climax. The feel of “Faith You Can See” is dynamic in costume and design. Your imagination will soar as inner voices tell truths, flashbacks defy time, bodies rise-up in spirited
