We are cordially inviting you to attend the official street naming ceremony for fallen Vallejo Police Officer James Lowell Capoot #497.

The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. where James Capoot Street, formerly known as 13th Street, will be officially dedicated. James Capoot Street will replace the entire length of Oklahoma Street.

The ceremony will be held at the intersection of James Capoot Street and Flagship Drive near the M37 building where Capoot formerly served as a Marine.

The department invites the Vallejo community, along with the family, friends and colleagues of Officer Capoot to attend.
