Sunday, May 14, 12:00noon-5:00pm the 14th Annual Mother’s Day Cream Tea will be served just outside the main entrance gate at the Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve by volunteers of the Mare Island Heritage Trust. This simple tea that includes scones taken with lemon curd, clotted cream and strawberry jam, is served on nice china with charming decor, spring bouquets and music. Seating is al fresco under canopies protective from the Spring sun. As is the tradition, the Mother’s Day Tea is free with no reservations required. The Mother’s Day Cream Tea will be served at the intersection of Azuar Dr. and Correa Court at the deadened of Azuar Dr at the southern end of Mare Island in Vallejo.
